MOSCOW, 2 Dec — the President of the United States Donald trump used the occasion of Ukrainian provocation in the Black sea, to avoid meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, fearing a new wave of discontent and allegations of links with Russia from the “American Russophobes”, says member of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Sergei Zheleznyak.
The President of the United States Donald trump earlier refused to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov expressed regret in connection with the decision of trump.
Before meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe trump expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine will soon resolve this situation, and stated that he would like to meet with Putin.
