MOSCOW, Nov 8 — In Moscow watching the show in the US around the initiation of new sanctions against Russia, including in the case Skripal, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
Earlier, U.S. state Department spokesman Robert Palladino informed the Congress that Russia has not fulfilled the requirements prescribed in the law “On the control of chemical and biological weapons.” He said that as you move the United States will honour existing obligations under the law. Speaking of sanctions, he noted that Washington is currently studying the effect of introducing a new anti-Russian sanctions and conducts for this reason consultation with the U.S. Congress.
“We, of course, watching the spectacle that continues to play out in the United States of America,” she said.
