WASHINGTON, 7 Nov — President of the United States Donald trump confirmed that on 11 November in Paris will be his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the framework of the General lunch leaders, and full-length conversation between the two leaders will take place at the G20 summit in Argentina at the end of November.
“I don’t think we’ll have time (communicate — ed) separately. But we will soon meet at the G20, where both he and I will. And this meeting we are waiting for. We (in Paris — ed.) will be lunch, but I guess there will be a lot of people,” said trump at a press conference on the results of the midterm elections in Congress.
On Wednesday Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the decision not to hold a long meeting between the leaders of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Donald trump in Paris on November 11 was accepted by both parties together at the request of the leadership of France, arguing that such contact would distract attention from the main action – the celebrations on the occasion of the First world war.
