BERLIN, Nov 21 — In Berlin advocate that the United States remained in the Treaty on the intermediate-range nuclear forces (INF), Europe should not become a platform for debate on nuclear arms, said the foreign Minister of Germany Heiko Maas.

“We advocate that the US do not recklessly came out of the INF Treaty, because we do not want Europe to become a platform for debate on nuclear arms,” said the Minister, speaking on Wednesday in the Bundestag.

Earlier, the President of the United States Donald trump announced that Washington would withdraw from the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range. According to him, America will increase its nuclear capability as long as the others “comes to her senses”, then Washington will be ready to stop this process and proceed to arms reduction. He explained that this message is addressed primarily to China and Russia. Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow wants to get more detailed explanations from the United States, and added that the scrapping of the provisions of the INF Treaty would force Russia to take measures to ensure security. The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that any action in this field will meet.
