U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that Russia is two months that she returned to the implementation of the Treaty on the elimination of intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF Treaty) of 1987. He added that if this does not happen, Washington will suspend obligations under the INF Treaty.
Pompeo added that during this period the United States will not produce, test and deploy the missiles, which fall under the agreement. “After these 60 days, we’ll see what happens,” said the Secretary of state.
The official representative of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in response to the word Pompeo said that Moscow is strictly implementing the agreement, and Washington knows it.
