The first meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald trump was held on 7 July 2017 “on fields” the summit “group of twenty” in Hamburg (Germany). The meeting was also attended by Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson. Instead of the planned 30 minute conversation lasted over two hours.
The heads of state discussed the crisis in Ukraine, the Syrian conflict, cyber security and ways to improve bilateral relations.
The President of the United States, Donald trump told the media that the meeting with Putin was great.
