Democrat Sinema took the lead during the counting of votes in the election in Arizona

WASHINGTON, Nov 9 — a Democrat Kirsten Sinema took the lead during the counting of votes in Senate elections in Arizona, according to the voting results two days after the election.

Cinema is gaining 48.9% against 48.8 per cent of her opponent, Republican nominee Martha Maccalli. In absolute terms, the gap is 2.1 thousand votes. Earlier, Maccalli have held a slight advantage.

In this case, before the final verdict is still far away: it is estimated 1.8 million votes left to count and about 130 thousand.
