WASHINGTON, Nov 9 — Less than 10% of applications for asylum in the United States standards and are reasonable, told journalists the representative of the American administration.
On Thursday, the White house proposed to limit the granting of asylum to illegal immigrants, said the draft Executive order of the US administration, laid out for discussion in the Internet. The order proposes in the future to introduce similar restrictions.
“Despite the fact that many people come here (in the US) in search of asylum, history and statistics show that the number of those who really need asylum are much smaller (of the total number of users) — less than 10%”, — said the official at the briefing.
