MOSCOW, 10 Nov — US President Donald trump was posthumously awarded the Presidential medal of Freedom American singer and actor Elvis Presley, said in a statement the White house.
“Elvis Presley showed the American culture to the billions of adoring fans around the world. Elvis Presley remains steadfast American icon four decades later,” the statement reads. It is noted that he sold over one billion records, starred in many films, and also served in the U.S. army for almost two years, “despite his fame”.
Trump also will award philanthropist, Miriam Adelson, the Senator about Orrin Hatch, lawyer Alan Paige, the baseball player George Herman “babe” Ruth, Jr., a former member of the U.S. Supreme court Antonin Gregory Scalia and American football player Roger Staubach.
