BEIJING, 2 Dec – the Failure to observe agreements has become a distinctive feature of the American President Donald trump, so with great optimism for made in Argentina agreement on trade conflicts of China and the United States, trump may at any time be broken, said Sunday the famous Chinese political scientist, independent political expert Sy Manag.
The leaders of China XI Jinping and Donald trump held on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Argentina a long-awaited meeting, which has brought some certainty for the next steps of the parties towards the settlement of a prolonged “trade war”. Following the meeting it became known that the Chinese President has promised to rectify the situation with the trade imbalance and start to purchase significant volumes of agricultural and other goods from the US. Trump, in turn, agreed not to raise tariffs from 10% to 25% from 1 January, as previously threatened. But with a caveat: this will happen only if the parties reach agreement on a specific range of issues within 90 days.
Despite the optimism of officials, expert community urges China to use caution to promises trump, “for which violation of the agreements has already become a calling card”.
