WASHINGTON, 9 Oct — President of the United States Donald trump lamented that he could not appoint his daughter Ivanka Ambassador of the country at the United Nations, reported Reuters, citing trump’s words to the journalists of the presidential pool.
Earlier the U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley said that he will leave the post at the end of the year. She didn’t give any reasons for the resignation, but trump has promised Haley place in the administration if she decides to return to the White house.
According to trump, Ivanka would have been “incredibly good” Ambassador to the UN, but he would be accused of nepotism — promoting relatives in warm places.
