MOSCOW, 23 Oct — President of the United States Donald trump questioned the explanation of Saudi officials regarding the death of journalist Jamal Casucci and stated that he is convinced that it is “a conspiracy that went wrong”, the newspaper USA Today.
According to the newspaper, trump also said he would resist attempts to stop the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia. In his opinion, there are “many other possible punishments,” and in adopting them he will consult with key members of Congress.
According to trump, he had a telephone conversation with the Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and intends in the near future to find out what happened in the Saudi Consulate in Turkey.
