WASHINGTON, 1 Dec — President of the United States Donald trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the situation around the Treaty on intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF Treaty) and the incident with the Ukrainian ships in the Kerch Strait, said the press Secretary of the White house Sarah Sanders.
“Today President Donald trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit. They exchanged views on the violation by Russia of the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range, discussed how to strengthen NATO and enhance Europe’s energy security,” — said in a statement released by Sanders.
According to her, the two leaders also “discussed the situation with Russia and Ukraine.”
