U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo.
MOSCOW, 5 Dec – US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that Russia is two months that she returned to the implementation of the Treaty on the elimination of intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF Treaty) of 1987. He added that if this does not happen, Washington will suspend obligations under the INF Treaty.
The head of the state Department added that during this period the United States will not produce, test and deploy the missiles, which fall under the agreement.
“After these 60 days, we’ll see what happens,” said the Secretary of state.
