WASHINGTON, 30 Nov – the US state Department has approved a possible sale to Poland 20 missile and artillery systems in the amount of 655 million dollars, reported on Thursday, the US defense Department.
“The Department of state took the decision to permit the potential sale of Poland artillery rocket launchers, high mobility (HIMARS) М124 and associated equipment prior to the amount of 655 million dollars”, — stated in the message of the Pentagon.
It is expected that the supply will maintain a commercial company, Lockheed Martin. Approval of the transaction by the state Department is not the final stage of the approval procedure of such supplies, and does not mean a guaranteed sale of equipment.
