WASHINGTON, 1 Dec — the US Military will remain on the border with Mexico until the end of January 2019 to assist the employees of border and migration services, announced the press service of the Pentagon.
“Today the Department of homeland security filed a request for assistance to the Ministry of defence to extend their support until January 31, 2019,” — said the representative of press-service.
According to him, staff support DHS by the military will be ensured “in accordance with the current threat, the nature of the mission and operational needs of customs and border protection.”
