WASHINGTON, 9 Oct – US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said during communication with journalists on Tuesday that during his talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN has been real progress in the field of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, but the path to achieving this goal is still long.

Pompeo also added that the parties continue to discuss the second summit between U.S. President Donald trump and Kim Jong-UN.

“Last night I returned from my trip to North Korea, where we have made real progress, we still have a long road ahead and a lot to do, but now we see the way in which we can achieve our uncompromising goal is the final and confirmed denuclearization of North Korea,” said Pompeo told reporters.
