WASHINGTON, 11 Oct — US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo discussed on Wednesday with Minister of foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Marsudi the recent earthquake in the country that claimed hundreds of lives, according to the state Department on Thursday.
“The Secretary of state Michael Pompeo talked to the Minister of foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Marsudi 10 October, to Express his condolences and discuss future support to victims of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred on 28 September in Central Sulawesi”, — stated in the message of the state Department.
“Pompeo and Minister of foreign Affairs Marsudi discussed efforts to respond to natural disaster and assistance to the United States on elimination of consequences of natural disasters”, — noted there.
