TOKYO, Oct 7 — U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo stated that he had discussed with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, the organization of the summit, the DPRK, the United States, the time and place will be discussed, reported on Sunday the official Twitter account of the administration of South Korean President.
“Pompeo said that he exchanged views with Kim Jong-UN to hold the second summit of the DPRK-US in the near future. The parties agreed to continue discussions to determine the exact place and time for holding the summit,” said a senior Secretary to the President for public relations Yoon Yong Chan.
South Korean President moon Jae-In during the Sunday meeting said that the visit Pompeo in Korea and the upcoming summit of the U.S. and North Korea will help achieve “irreversible progress” in denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
