MEXICO city, Oct 9 — Oil and gas companies are scaling down production in the Gulf of Mexico and evacuated personnel in connection with hurricane Michael, stopped mining 19% of oil in the Gulf in the United States, according to the Bureau of safety and environmental control of the United States (Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, BSEE).

According to recent reports, evacuated the staff from ten platforms, oil production reduced by 324,19 thousands of barrels per day gas – to 284 million cubic feet (11% of the total production in region).

It is reported that evacuated employees of the company Anadarko Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, BP and BHP Billiton.
