MOSCOW, 16 Nov — the Snowfall in the Eastern United States led to several fatal accidents and the cancellation of a thousand flights, hundreds of thousands of Americans were left without electricity, reported CBS.

As the channel, the snowfall hit the Eastern United States on Wednesday and Thursday. In the St. Louis area got about 20 inches of precipitation. According to forecasts, the thickness of the snow cover in the Northern part of the state of new Jersey can be as large as 20 centimeters and 15 centimeters on the southern New England region.

Some roads blocked, reported numerous accidents. In the States of Mississippi, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio and Maryland were several weather-related traffic accidents, which killed eight people.
