Donald trump and XI Jinping.
MOSCOW, 3 Dec — China and the United States will not be easy to negotiate on non-tariff barriers to trade, as such restrictions are difficult to track, said the expert of sovereign ratings and prediction ACRE Dmitry Kulikov.
The leaders of the United States and China on the sidelines of the G20 summit have agreed on mutual steps to duties. In particular, Chinese President XI Jinping has promised to rectify the situation with the trade imbalance and start to purchase significant volumes of agricultural and other goods from the US. In turn, the President of the United States Donald trump has agreed from January 1, to raise from 10 to 25% duty on goods from China import volume at $ 200 billion, if the parties will be able within 90 days to agree on a certain range of issues.
“The parties acknowledged that a stronger increase of duties is a problem for both economies. It is productive, but so far, for example, sounds that can in some scenario, to cancel already entered,” — said Kulikov.
