BEIJING, 18 Oct — China regrets U.S. decision to withdraw from the universal postal Union (UPU), which remains an important international organization in the field of trade facilitation, said at a briefing on Thursday, foreign Ministry spokesman of China, Lu Kang.
“We regret that the United States decided to withdraw from the universal postal Union, which is a special international Agency for postal Affairs and plays a positive role in promoting trade facilitation,” said the diplomat.
According to him, the UPU is not the first Union, of which the US decided to withdraw, the decision on this issue should take the American side, and to speculate on the subject is not necessary.
