Sergei Lavrov. Mr Song
MOSCOW, 22 Oct — the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the possibility of U.S. withdrawal from the Treaty on intermediate and shorter-range missiles, said that any action in this field will meet.
Earlier, the President of the United States Donald trump announced that the United States does not intend to comply with the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range when it breaks, and will be released from the contract. The US President, commenting on the withdrawal from the INF Treaty, also said that Washington will develop weapons. As stated by Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the Russian Federation expects to receive a clear explanation of further steps the U.S. INF Treaty from the assistant to the President for homeland security John Bolton, who on Sunday arrived in Moscow.
“Of course, as we have already said, and President (Vladimir) Putin confirmed this at the Valdai forum in Sochi, any action in this sphere will meet resistance because strategic stability can be ensured only on the basis of parity. This parity will be maintained under all circumstances. We are responsible for global stability and we hope that the United States is also not renouncing his share of the responsibility,” the Minister said at a press conference following talks with foreign Minister of Madagascar.
