An Iranian national has pleaded guilty to violating U.S. export controls

WASHINGTON, Nov 9 — a Citizen of Iran Arash Safari pleaded guilty to conspiracy to export dual-use technologies and dual-use goods to Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions, said in a statement, the U.S. Department of justice.

Severe was an employee and member of the Board of Directors of Iranian companies under EU sanctions in 2011 for the procurement of components for Iranian nuclear programme.

Seferi wanted to sonars, high-resolution, input devices, laptops with high requirements of operation, acoustic transducers and other equipment to bypass the sanctions prohibitions of the United States. It was planned to carry out trade through front companies in the UAE and Hong Kong.
